This is something quite relevant to me, as I've spent most of my adult life 'travelling and/or living abroad', 42 Counties later, I definitely feel that it's been one of my 'activities' that allowed me to understand myself more. Does Having A Life Purpose Matter?

One of the main questions in life is, “What is my life purpose?” This is a very painful question to ask yourself, because if you get the answer wrong and follow someone else’s dreams and ambitions, you risk losing a lot of time and, most importantly, a part of yourself.

Why Birthdays are Brilliant
I love my birthday. For me, birthdays are not just a great time of year to treat myself - but also a great landmark to have a self-assessment review. Maybe you can guess I have my birthday coming up. 30th of May is when I take some time for myself and have a good-old-think about how far I've come, where I want to go and whether I'm living the life I choose. Thanks to keeping a diary, I'm able to look back at my objectives for the year, and I'm always surprised to see how much I actually completed... There is certainly a lot of truth in writing goals down as a more direct route to achieving them.
Life-Long Inspiration in a Poem
Today I want to share 'After a While' with you. It's a poem supposedly written by Veronica A. Shoffstall, which gives some beautiful advice about how to live your life. However, I say supposedly because there are a few other claims of authorship to this lovely piece of work. Including Shakespeare and Latin author Jorge Luis Borges. After all my research I found about the poem, I can't find any hard facts about the true authorship, just opinions. A friend of mine showed it to me as a piece written by Shakespeare called 'The Minstrel' but other people suggest it was a translation from Borges piece "Despues un tiempo'...
Everything you do is a creation, and your life is a fine work of art. Throughout all your experiences in your life, your decisions, your thoughts, ideas and creations, you contribute to the Universe. The very best of our human race are those who have invested time into self-exploration and personal development and these are some of the greatest people who contribute to the evolution of human kind. While we are given this wonderful life from the Universe, it’s our responsibility to be the best we can be, right?
